Also new is a Focus mode that strips away the surrounding distractions when you need to just read through something on-screen like the reading mode in most browsers. I had my doubts upon ordering this book. But I wanted to take a deeper dive and learn more specialized things — in my case, Table of Contents, Indexes, Footnotes and End Notes.
I often find books are more helpful than searching the web for these types of topics. This book covered all and more, is well-written and well-organized, and is exactly what I was looking for — instructive but not tedious; smart and not wasting my time with basic stuff.
This is one of the worst books I have ever purchased. The author rambles and skips around. All talk with little examples. Very disappointed. I don't review often, but had to say something. Do not purchase this book. Ordered specifically for word however is not what my version of word is by any means.
Very disappointed in micro-soft and this book. Examining Word functionality, and learning word functions and abilities was the primary use and this book serves this purpose well. Damaged corner.
